In this article, I give you5 Reasons to buy Sew-Geek shirts. I will cover, materials, sizing, design, and production. If you ever been thinking about buying a shirt from me and haven’t, you just might after reading this blog post.
1. Materials
I use high-quality shirts. If you ever wore one of the Sew-Geek shirts you know they are super soft. The reason is, the solid colors are 100 % airlume, ringspun cotton. My heather shirts are super soft as well, they are made of 52% airlume combed and ring-spun cotton, 48% polyester. This is to achieve a heather effect.
What is airlume cotton? Here is how my supplier explains it:
It’s the highest quality combed and ring-spun cotton you can get. How do we know? We’ve been working 25 years to perfect it. Clean cotton, long-staple fibers, and our eco-friendly dying process is what makes our cotton different.
2. Sizing
Our non-gender Sew-Geek shirts have an awesome fit. I love that they are also a bit on the longer side. Check out the sizing chart for them. I have small- 3X-large on hand, if you need a bigger size, just message me.
My fitted V-Neck shirts are true to size. None of this Junior sizing. If you are a size Large, then you will fit into the large. These shirts got from small to 2X-large and I have them on hand.
You will also find these charts attached to every shirt listing. And if you are still not sure, message me.
3. Design
I try to offer unique designs and I do make custom designs. You can even order shirts for group outings or family reunions. I will take care of you. My designs are usually made of high-quality HTV and the full-color designs are a digital print.
All the designs you see on Sew-Geek , I designed myself or my daughter. But we are proud to say we do it all in house.
4. Production
All of the shirts on the web-site are produced in house by me. I have two production days a week, where I cut and heat set designs. Those days are usually Wednesday and Friday.
If I have a bigger order, then I have my print shop do the work which usually is a 7-10 day turnaround. Those shirts are screen printed.
So I hope you now have a better insight into why my shirts are awesome!
Happy Geekery
