Q & A with Claudia

A while back I posted that my followers can ask me anything, so here are the answers to those questions. If you have any questions for me, feel free to contact me via the contact us page, or on any of Sew-Geek’s Social Media. The following are some of the answers to those questions. Thanks to all that asked. Here we go, Q & A with Claudia

What is my absolute favorite Fandom?

Supernatural, it’s the fandom I am most involved in. I became part of it in 2012 and I am still here. I am part of a few groups on Facebook, but my favorite group has become my Impala family. I get to see some of them once a year at our gathering at the Brewery. A few of the members are like family to me.

What’s my favorite thing to do while drinking tea?

Sitting on my couch and read a book. I drink tea all day long, but yeah sitting on the couch, with a book or watching a movie with my family, has to be my favorite.

What kind of books do I like to read?

Fantasy books, I grew up with “The Neverending Story” which my 4th-grade teacher read to us and was hooked. The author also has another book called “Momo” and you should try and find it and read it. Then as a Teenager, I discovered “Mists of Avalon” and then devoured all sorts of Arthurian books, fiction, and non-fiction. I read all the Harry Potter books, but once of my favorite Fantasy Authors is Mercedes Lackey. The first book of hers I read was “It Takes a Thief” and that was all it took to get me all tangled in the beautiful Valdemar world.

What Podcasts do I listen to?

I have a few I listen to, but I don’t do so regularly. I loved listening to “The Adventure Zone” with the Boys, I haven’t listened to much of the new adventures. I recently discovered “Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness” and I like that. Inside of you with Michael Rosenbaum is fun as well. But as I said, I don’t listen to podcasts on a regular basis.

What do I miss most about home, which is Switzerland?

My family, my mom, and my sister with her family still live there. I miss them, but thanks to technology I get to video chat with them all the time.

I do miss the mountains, as it is very flat here in Texas, oh and actual season, where you can wear sweaters and fun jackets for more than one day. As you can see my big grin says it all when I am on top of a mountain.

What are my favorite things to make?

Uff, that’s a tough one, I love everything I make. But I’d say designing T-Shirts and Mugs is one of my favorites. I use CorelDraw for that and when I stared with T-Shirts in 2015 I had no clue about Corel. But I learned and I think I’ve gotten decent at it. So yeah designing things is my favorite.

Thank you for the great Questions and I hope to do this again in the future. If you want to send me questions please do so via social media or info@sewgeek.live-website.com
