How to make your own Pin Display

Have you ever wondered what to do with those enamel pins you collect at Disney or any of the Conventions? I love collecting pins, but they started to collect dust in a drawer. So I decided to change this and show you how to Make your own Pin Display. With very few materials and a little effort, this display is super cost-effective but looks like a million dollars.

Materials needed to make your own pin display.

  • an embroidery hoop,  can be plastic or wood, I got mine from Amazon.
  • a fat quarter of cotton fabric, or enough to cover the embroidery Hoop
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • 20 mins of time.

Instructions:

First, you put the fabric on the hoop like you would if you were to do any embroidery.  Make sure the fabric is taught, that way the enamel pins will not sag when the frame hangs on the wall. Then cut the fabric around the hoop and leave about 1/2″ of extra fabric. Cause we need to tuck that in. Now take the clue and spread it onto the embroidery frame and tuck the fabric over the smaller of the frames. Do this all the way around. Once you have that done all the way around let it dry well and then put your pins on it and hang it onto the wall. You can also watch a tutorial video on youtube, by yours truly.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial on how to make your own pin display and let me know in the comments what kind of crafts you would like to see tutorials on. Until then, I wish you health and clear blue skies
